This blog explains you how you can embed canva designs within monday.com, enabling seamless collaboration for your team without having to leave monday.com.

Step 0: pre-req

If you have not already installed Embed Pro for monday.com, please do so by using the below link.

Embed Pro helps you to embed canva link in item view, dashboard view and board view. Checkout this link for more details of how to configure it.

Step 1:

By default canva links are private, which means even if we share the url, the other party is not going to be able to view the link.

we have to do some extra steps to enable this configuration.

Go to Canva design that you want to share.

Click on “Share” button in top right corner which opens up a box.

Step 2:

Click on “Embed”

Step 3:

Click on Copy button in second box named “Smart Embed link”

Step 4:

Add the following text to the copied text. ?embed

eg. if the copied text is https://www.canva.com/design/abc/xyz/view the result text would be https://www.canva.com/design/abc/xyz/view?embed

Use this text as URL in Embed pro setting as shown in Step 0.
