This blog explains you how you can embed Google Sheets within monday.com, enabling seamless collaboration for your team without having to leave monday.com.

Step 0: pre-req

If you have not already installed Embed Pro for monday.com, please do so by using the below link.

Embed Pro helps you to embed canva link in item view, dashboard view and board view. Checkout this link for more details of how to configure it.

Step 1:

By default Google sheets are private, which means even if we share the url, the other party is not going to be able to view the link.

we have to do some extra steps to enable this configuration.

Go to Google Sheets link that you want to share.

Click on “File” button in top left corner, then click on “Share”, then click on “Publish to web”

Step 2:

A pop up window will open with title “Publish to the web”,

Here you have option to share entire document, or you can share single sheet from the drop down. select “Web page” in the second drop down, and copy the url in the box below it.

Use this copied url in URL field in Embed pro setting as shown in Step 0.
